Faculty Development Programme on Enhancing Teaching Effectiveness

A Faculty Development Programme was successfully organized by Rosa Mystica PU College on 17th March 2026 at 9:30 a.m. on the college campus. The programme commenced with a prayer song, creating a serene and positive atmosphere.

It  was presided over by Sr Roselyta BS, Correspondent of the institution. Rev Fr Ashwin Cardoza, Director of ICYM Mangalore and the Karnataka Region, served as the resource person for the session.

The welcome address was delivered by Sr Anita Lydia, Principal of Rosa Mystica PU College. In her presidential address, Sr Roselyta emphasized the importance of positively transforming the lives of students through dedicated and value-based teaching.

Fr. Ashwin Cardoza conducted insightful sessions focusing on enhancing classroom engagement, building a positive classroom culture, and highlighting the vital role of teachers in motivating students. The sessions also included interactive activities, which enriched the participants’ learning experience.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Sujatha, Lecturer, who expressed her gratitude to everyone for contributing to the success of the event. The programme was gracefully compered by Mr Avil Renil D’Silva. The presence of Sr Lydia Mendonca, Principal of Madeleine PU College, along with the staff, added great value and encouragement to the event.
