Beyond the Classroom: Celebrating Our Guiding Lights A Salute to the Silent Heroes of Education

5 September 2026: Rosa Mystica PU College celebrated Campus Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and heartfelt gratitude, honouring the dedicated service, commitment, and invaluable contributions of its teachers.

The celebration commenced with a prayer service led by the lecturers, invoking God’s blessings for a meaningful and successful programme. The dignitaries then paid a floral tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, remembering his remarkable contribution to education and his enduring legacy as a teacher and statesman.

The programme was graced by Sr. Roselyta, Correspondent and President, Sr. Leena Pereira, Superior and Chief Guest, and Sr. Ruth B.S., Novice Directress and Guest of Honour. The Heads of Rosa Mystica Institute and Bethany CBSE, along with over 100 faculty members, gathered in a spirit of gratitude, appreciation, and togetherness.

The celebration was enlivened by a variety of fun-filled games, a special wishing song dedicated to the teachers, and the presentation of gifts as tokens of love and appreciation. The activities created an atmosphere of joy, laughter, and camaraderie.

Addressing the gathering, Sr. Ruth B.S., Guest of Honour, reminded the teachers that while lessons may be forgotten, the values imparted by teachers remain forever in the hearts of students. Sr. Leena Pereira, Chief Guest, emphasized that teachers do more than impart knowledge—they touch, inspire, and transform lives. Sr. Roselyta, President, highlighted the vital role of teachers in shaping the character, values, and future of young minds and expressed appreciation for their selfless dedication.

The programme featured a warm welcome address by Mrs. Esha Vinutha D’Souza, while Mrs. Supriya J. Lopis skillfully compered the event. Mrs. Ashwitha proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the celebration.

The memorable celebration concluded on a joyful note as the teachers dispersed with joy and satisfaction, sharing coffee and delicious snacks and cherishing the spirit of gratitude, fellowship, and togetherness.
