The Faculty Development Programme titled “Apex: Speak with Impact” was jointly organized by JCI Mangaluru Samrat, Swastika National Business School, Mangalore, and Rosa Mystica PU College. The programme was held at Swastika Waterfront, Mangalore, on 16 March 2026.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr Mahabala Alva, HR Manager at Laxmi Memorial Education Trust (AJ Group) and Founder of Alva HR Services, Mangalore. In his inaugural address, he encouraged participants to develop strong communication skills to become more effective educators.

JC Deepak Raj, Manager at Amazon Development Centre, Bangalore, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. JCI Sen. Dr Raghavendra Holla N, Chairman of Swastika National Business School, served as the Resource Person. Sr. Anita Lydia was present as the Guest of Honour.

The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp. In his address, JC Deepak Raj emphasized the importance of capturing students’ attention and motivating them to develop their skills, thereby creating an engaging and effective classroom environment in schools and colleges.

Dr Raghavendra Holla spoke about the significance of teamwork and coordination, and highlighted the leadership qualities required among the present generation. During the session, participants were introduced to advanced AI tools such as ChatGPT, prompt engineering techniques, and the Suno app. These tools were demonstrated as effective means to enhance teaching methodologies through the integration of modern technology.

The faculty members actively participated in the session and engaged enthusiastically in creative games and activities. Winners were awarded prizes, and all participants received certificates of participation. Sumptuous meal was served to all.

The event was compered by JCI Preethi Shettigar, President of JCI Mangaluru Samrat, who also presided over the programme.
