“New Horizons Soar High” Freshers Day Celebration 2026-27 at Rosa Mystica PU College

Rosa Mystica PU College, Kinnikambla, celebrated Freshers Day with great joy and enthusiasm on 13 June 2026 at 9:15 a.m. in the college auditorium. The programme was organized under the inspiring theme “New Horizons Soar High,” symbolizing the beginning of a new academic journey filled with hope, opportunities, and aspirations. The First PUC students were warmly welcomed, making them feel valued and comfortable in their new academic environment.

The programme was presided over by Sr Rose Lyta BS, Correspondent, who, in her presidential address, guided the students about the new academic year and encouraged them to dream big, believe in themselves, and cultivate a positive character with a passion for excellence. Sr. Anita Lydia, Principal, appreciated the efforts of the staff and students in organizing the programme and motivated the freshers to pursue excellence with faith, confidence, discipline, and determination.

The programme began with a prayer led by Mr Avil Renil Dsilva, Vice Principal, invoking God’s blessings upon the gathering. A vibrant welcome dance set the tone for the celebration, followed by a warm welcome speech by Mashitha, who encouraged the Freshers to embrace new experiences and strive for success. The event was gracefully compered by Meghana D Kotian

A meaningful mime on education highlighted the importance of knowledge, discipline, and values, while an energetic entertainment dance added colour and excitement to the programme. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Sahara Shazi, expressing gratitude to the management, staff, and students. The event created lasting memories and inspired the Freshers to dream, believe, and achieve greater heights.
