
Rosa Mystica PU College Conducts Parent–Teacher Orientation Programme and General Body Meeting

Rosa Mystica Pre-University College, Kinnikambla, successfully conducted its Parent–Teacher Orientation Programme and General Body Meeting on July 8, 2026, at 2.00 pm.in the college auditorium. The programme was organised with the objective of strengthening the partnership between parents and teachers for the holistic development of students.
The programme commenced on a spiritual note with a prayer, followed by a graceful welcome dance. The formal inauguration was marked by the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Avil Renil D’Silva, Vice Principal, warmly welcomed the dignitaries, parents, faculty members, and students. He also presented a comprehensive report on the academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities of the college, highlighting the institution’s major achievements and accomplishments during the previous academic year. The newly elected PTA office bearers were introduced, and the students who secured distinctions in the board examinations were felicitated for their outstanding academic performance.
The highlight of the programme was an enlightening session by Dr Raghavendra Holla, Chairman of Swastika National Business School. In his address, he spoke on the vital role of parents in nurturing today’s youth. He emphasised the importance of maintaining open communication with children of Gen Z Generation , understanding their social environment, and instilling discipline, values, and responsibility to prepare them for future challenges.
Sr Roselyta BS the President of the Parent–Teacher Association, addressed the gathering and encouraged parents to remain actively involved in their children’s academic progress and emotional well-being. She stressed that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for the holistic development of every student.
Mr Deepak Kotian, Vice President of the PTA, delivered an inspiring talk on positive parenting. He highlighted the importance of raising children with compassion, responsibility, and a global outlook while reiterating the indispensable role of parents in shaping their children’s character and future.
The mangemnat is indebted to him as he has sponsored a good Deepa to the college.
Mrs Deeksha proposed the vote of thanks, expressing her sincere gratitude to the management, PTA members, parents, faculty, and everyone who contributed to the success of the programme. The event was gracefully compered by Mrs Sujatha Sanil.
There was good response from the parents for they attended in Big number. Snacks was served to all after which the parents dispersed joyfully.
